Brooklyn Girl Film Fest is now accepting submissions for the first annual Film Festival, March 30, 2012 to April 01, 2012.

The goal of Brooklyn Girl Fest is to showcase the work of women filmmakers from around the globe. Whether their work is a serious documentary or a lighthearted comedy there is one thing for sure, women are underrepresented in the entertainment industry. Brooklyn Girl Fest seeks to empower women and their unique and relevant interpretation of the world around them and strengthen the community of women filmmakers.
