New York Public Radio seeks an Interaction Designer with proven information-design, data-visualization and user-experience skills, and with a passion for news, data, public media, new technology and crowd-sourced journalism.
As a part of WNYC's Data News Unit, you will work hand-in-hand with reporters, producers and editors to build news visualizations and interactive projects produced by WNYC News, The Brian Lehrer Show, It's A Free Country, New Jersey Public Radio and other news/information services of New York Public Radio. You will work as part of an agile team, and be integrated with the product-design and developer staffs of New York Public Radio as a whole.
