ABOUT US | Structure
The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) provides major funding for NAPT, as well as for other minority consortia located throughout the United States:
- Latino Public Broadcasting
- National Black Programming Consortium (NBPC)
- Center for Asian American Media (CAAM)
- Pacific Islanders in Communications (PIC)
Visit the new National Minority Consortia (NMC) website
NAPT and our sister consortia exist to enhance CPB's mission by ensuring that minority voices are represented in public radio and television through the creation of programming for the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS). NAPT abides by the guidelines and policies of CPB and all productions receiving NAPT funding must meet CPB standards.
Nebraska Educational Telecommunications (NET) provides major in-kind support for NAPT by providing office space in its Lincoln headquarters, as well as other administrative support functions.
